Liroy odpowiada Bono. „Wiedza daleka od prawdy”

Liroy napisał list do Bono.

Zdaniem Liroya wiedza Bono na temat sytuacji w Polsce jest daleka od prawdy i opiera się na wątpliwych źródłach.

Raper zaprosił Bono do Polski, by na własne oczy zobaczył, jak wygląda sytuacja w naszym kraju.

“Czuję się zobowiązany, by pomóc Ci zrozumieć stanowisko Polski w sprawie walki z terroryzmem i europejskiego kryzysu imigranckiego”– czytamy w liście.

Cały list w języku angielskim:

“Dear Bono,

I believe that every Artist has the right to speak his mind and I would consider you the most outspoken person in show business who always voiced his opinion on so many important both social and political issues.

I’m very happy to hear that Poland is still very close to your heart and that just recently you referred to Poland in your speech addressing the Senate subcommittee at Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.

As far as I know you mentioned Poland in the context of the fight against terrorism and global refugee crisis as an example of ‘hyper-nationalism’.

To tell you the truth I was speechless when I learned about your take on the current situation in Poland. I dare to say that your knowledge on that subject must be based on a rather questionable source and is far from the truth.

Both as a musician and a Polish MP I would like to invite you to Warsaw to discuss the subject you brought up in your speech and see for yourself the current vibe of Poland.

I do recall so many of your nice comments about Poland, one of them in the long interview in Rolling Stone a few years back, that I feel obliged to help you understand where Poland is on the subject of fight with terrorism and European refugee crisis.

You mentioned a very serious matter regarding Poland and it has to be discussed urgently to avoid any other future misunderstandings as your opinion counts and is heard all over the world.

I know that your schedule is very busy but hope that you can find e few hours to visit Warsaw at any time that is most convenient for you.
